This is a pattern I designed years ago but I recently discovered that it’s no longer on my site.
I’ve made these coasters using linen yarn I bought from Linnet, a beautiful Japanese linen shop. Their fabrics are just gorgeous, I especially love the linen towel cloth and the linen waffle. I discovered this shop years ago and just found the yarns in a bag and had to make something. The antique Burleigh platter was one of my UK antique shop finds and is up on a wall.
You will need:
you can use any lightweight yarn, but if you get thicker yarn the pattern will not have the same proportions.
