Hello and a very happy 2019. I can’t believe a whole year has passed.
So what happend to me? I opened The Yvestown Tea Room & Shop in 2018 and it caught me whole. I’ve spent the past year each and every day inside the shop and I’ve not been able to do much else. I haven’t touched my garden, I haven’t tried new recipes, I haven’t touched my camera, I haven’t made anything and I haven’t been places. For those of you who’ve been following me for years; this is definitely not me. But nonetheless I’m really enjoying the tea room and the shop and all the amazing people I’ve met.
But things need to change for me to stay happy. So after a lot of thinking, measuring and visiting the town hall I can now confirm that I’ll be moving the tea room and the shop back home with me. So I will be at home where I can blog and write about my home again and I will be running the tea room and shop from the same place. The living room, dining room and library are already empty.
The current tea room and shop will remain open until the end of January. During February and March I’ll take some time off to get everything at home up and running. We are also still redecorating and partly renovating our home so things will be messy but that’s my life and I like to share that with you.
It feels so good to be back as I really missed decorating, gardening, cooking and blogging, it’s really what I live for. So watch this space.
